a Gk. ἐρυσίβη. Usu. translates Hb. חסיל ḥsyl [H2625], but here translates Hb. חדשׁ ḥdš [H2320], new moon. Per Jl. 1:4 and Jl. 2:25, a hasil is thought to be one of four cycles of the locust, the crawling nymph stage.
