¶For all this I laid to my heart, even to explore all this: that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God; whether it is love or hatred, man doesn’t know it; all is before them.

a All moments are opportunities to do what matters: to keep your garments and your soul as well clean. Καιρός is not the mere sequence of seconds.

11Eccl 9:1111ἐπέστρεψα καὶ εἶδον ὑπὸ τὸν ἥλιον ὅτι οὐ τοῖς κούφοις ὁ δρόμος καὶ οὐ τοῖς δυνατοῖς ὁ πόλεμος καί γε οὐ τοῖς σοφοῖς ἄρτος καί γε οὐ τοῖς συνετοῖς πλοῦτος καί γε οὐ τοῖς γινώσκουσιν χάρις ὅτι καιρὸς καὶ ἀπάντημα συναντήσεται τοῖς πᾶσιν αὐτοῖςEccl 9:11¶I returned around, and I saw under the sun, that the race is not (always) to the swift nimble (is) the race, nor and not (always) to the mighty (is) the battle to the strong war,; neither yet and even bread to the wise not (always is there) bread, nor yet and even riches to men of understanding the intelligent not (always is there) wealth, nor yet and even favor to men of skill those who are learned not (always is there) favor; but because timeopportunity[a] and chance happen to will meet them all.

a Opportunity: it means that doors will be open and they may be crossed or not depending on the ability of man. So, chance will meet them all, but all doors will be tight. "Time" can be missed. It comes as it goes.
