2Prv 16:22πάντα τὰ ἔργα τοῦ ταπεινοῦ φανερὰ παρὰ τῷ θεῷ οἱ δὲ ἀσεβεῖς ἐν ἡμέρᾳ κακῇ ὀλοῦνταιPrv 16:2
All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes;
but Yahweh weighs the motives.All the works of the humble are manifest in God but the ungodly will perish in an evil day.

Yahweh has made everything for its own end—
yes, even the wicked for the day of evil.
5Prv 16:55ἀκάθαρτος παρὰ θεῷ πᾶς ὑψηλοκάρδιος χειρὶ δὲ χεῖρας ἐμβαλὼν ἀδίκως οὐκ ἀθῳωθήσεταιPrv 16:5
Everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to Yahweh:

Better is a little with righteousness,
than great revenues with injustice.The one seeking The Lord will find knowledge with righteousness yet the one rightly seeking Him will find peace.

but a wise man will pacify it.

The highway of the upright is to depart from evil.
He who keeps his way preserves his soul.

19Prv 16:1919κρείσσων πραΰθυμος μετὰ ταπεινώσεως ἢ ὃς διαιρεῖται σκῦλα μετὰ ὑβριστῶνPrv 16:19
It is better to be of a lowly spirit with the poor,
than to divide the plunder with the proud.
