Yahweh(The) Lordis myshepherds me:;I shall lackand nothing will I lack.[a]

- Yahweh is my shepherd:
- I shall lack nothing.
He makesInto a place of greenery, there he pastured melie down in green pastures.;He leads me beside stillon watersof tranquillity he nurtured me.;
- He makes me lie down in green pastures.
- He leads me beside still waters.
He restoresmy soul he restored.- He
guidesguided mein theon paths of righteousness for the sake of his name’s sake.,
- He restores my soul.
- He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Even thoughfor even if I should everwalk through the valley ofgo amid the shadow of death,- I will not fear
noevil,.[a]
¶Becauseforyou are with me., Youryour rod and your staff, they comfort me.

- Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
- I will fear no evil, for you are with me.
- Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
- You prepared a table before me
in the presence ofacross frommy enemiesthose who afflict me. - You anointed my head
within oil., Myand your cupruns over(is as) intoxicating as strongest (of drinks).,

Surely goodness and loving kindnessand your mercyshall followwill hound me all the days of my life,- and
I will dwellmy residing inYahweh’s(the) house of (the) Lordforever(is) into length of days.
- Surely goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life,
- and I will dwell in Yahweh’s house forever.
