2Ps 58:12εἰ ἀληθῶς ἄρα δικαιοσύνην λαλεῖτε εὐθεῖα κρίνετε οἱ υἱοὶ τῶν ἀνθρώπωνPs 58:1
Do you indeed speak righteousness, silent ones?
Do you judge blamelessly, you sons of men?
Ps 58:2Ps 58:2הַֽאֻמְנָ֗ם אֵ֣לֶם צֶ֭דֶק תְּדַבֵּר֑וּן מֵישָׁרִ֥ים תִּ֝שְׁפְּט֗וּ בְּנֵ֣י אָדָֽם׃Ps 58:1
Do you indeed speak righteousness, silent ones?

3Ps 58:23καὶ γὰρ ἐν καρδίᾳ ἀνομίας ἐργάζεσθε ἐν τῇ γῇ ἀδικίαν αἱ χεῖρες ὑμῶν συμπλέκουσινPs 58:2
No, in your heart you plot injustice.
You measure out the violence of your hands in the earth.
Ps 58:3Ps 58:3אַף־בְּלֵב֮ עוֹלֹ֪ת תִּפְעָ֫ל֥וּן בָּאָ֡רֶץ חֲמַ֥ס יְ֝דֵיכֶ֗ם תְּפַלֵּֽסֽוּן׃Ps 58:2
No, in your heart you plot injustice.
You measure out the violence of your hands in the earth.
4Ps 58:34ἀπηλλοτριώθησαν οἱ ἁμαρτωλοὶ ἀπὸ μήτρας ἐπλανήθησαν ἀπὸ γαστρός ἐλάλησαν ψεύδηPs 58:3
The wicked go astray from the womb.
They are wayward as soon as they are born, speaking lies.
Ps 58:4Ps 58:4זֹ֣רוּ רְשָׁעִ֣ים מֵרָ֑חֶם תָּע֥וּ מִ֝בֶּ֗טֶן דֹּבְרֵ֥י כָזָֽב׃Ps 58:3
The wicked go astray from the womb.

5Ps 58:45θυμὸς αὐτοῖς κατὰ τὴν ὁμοίωσιν τοῦ ὄφεως ὡσεὶ ἀσπίδος κωφῆς καὶ βυούσης τὰ ὦτα αὐτῆςPs 58:4
Their poison is like the poison of a snake;
like a deaf cobra that stops its ear,
Ps 58:5Ps 58:5חֲמַת־לָ֗מוֹ כִּדְמ֥וּת חֲמַת־נָחָ֑שׁ כְּמוֹ־פֶ֥תֶן חֵ֝רֵ֗שׁ יַאְטֵ֥ם אָזְנֽוֹ׃Ps 58:4
Their poison is like the poison of a snake;
like a deaf cobra that stops its ear,
6Ps 58:56ἥτις οὐκ εἰσακούσεται φωνὴν ἐπᾳδόντων φαρμάκου τε φαρμακευομένου παρὰ σοφοῦPs 58:5
which doesn’t listen to the voice of charmers,
no matter how skillful the charmer may be.
Ps 58:6Ps 58:6אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹא־יִ֭שְׁמַע לְק֣וֹל מְלַחֲשִׁ֑ים חוֹבֵ֖ר חֲבָרִ֣ים מְחֻכָּֽם׃Ps 58:5

Break out the great teeth of the young lions, Yahweh.
Ps 58:7Ps 58:7אֱ‍ֽלֹהִ֗ים הֲרָס־שִׁנֵּ֥ימוֹ בְּפִ֑ימוֹ מַלְתְּע֥וֹת כְּ֝פִירִ֗ים נְתֹ֣ץ ׀ יְהוָֽה׃Ps 58:6

8Ps 58:78ἐξουδενωθήσονται ὡς ὕδωρ διαπορευόμενον ἐντενεῖ τὸ τόξον αὐτοῦ ἕως οὗ ἀσθενήσουσινPs 58:7
Let them vanish as water that flows away.
When they draw the bow, let their arrows be made blunt.

10Ps 58:910πρὸ τοῦ συνιέναι τὰς ἀκάνθας ὑμῶν τὴν ῥάμνον ὡσεὶ ζῶντας ὡσεὶ ἐν ὀργῇ καταπίεται ὑμᾶςPs 58:9
Before your pots can feel the heat of the thorns,
he will sweep away the green and the burning alike.

The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance.

so that men shall say, “Most certainly there is a reward for the righteous.
Most certainly there is a God who judges the earth.”
Ps 58:12Ps 58:12וְיֹאמַ֣ר אָ֭דָם אַךְ־פְּרִ֣י לַצַּדִּ֑יק אַ֥ךְ יֵשׁ־אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים שֹׁפְטִ֥ים בָּאָֽרֶץ׃Ps 58:11
so that men shall say, “Most certainly there is a reward for the righteous.
Most certainly there is a God who judges the earth.”
